Dawson Road Maintenance Ltd. efficiently maintains public local roads, main highways, and bridges in accordance to the specifications set out by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MoTI). Utilizing highly trained personnel, innovative technologies and products, a diverse fleet of specialized maintenance equipment, and real time weather forecasting; Dawson Road Maintenance works hard to continuously apply maintenance where and when it is needed. We provide these services to ensure British Columbians are safely connected, every day.


In this role you will be a valued member of Dawson Road Maintenance, working as a permanent, full-time Road Foreman, reporting to: Superintendent, Roads. As Road Foreman, you will assist in the supervision and activities of maintenance crews, sub-contractors and hired equipment. Your base location will be Gold Bridge, BC and will include some travel throughout our great province.




  • Prioritize safety of self and others in all aspects of the job
  • Effectively follow instructions and function well without direct supervision
  • Ensure efficiency of scheduled work that is carried out by employees under their supervision
  • Exercise tact and co-operation in dealing with employees, the general public and government personnel
  • Have tact and co-operation in dealing with employees, the general public and government personnel.
  • Have extensive knowledge and experience in road maintenance and the requirements of Ministry of Transportation maintenance specifications
  • Communicate and work co-operatively with Stakeholders



  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in management level roles required
  • Minimum five (5) years of knowledge and experience in the road maintenance industry required
  • Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with an Air Brake Endorsement required
  • Valid Class 1 Driver’s License preferred
  • Must have a clean driver’s abstract
  • Capability to operate equipment subject to qualifications
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to complete shift work as required
